On February 3, 2010, Clifford W. Taylor, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Temperanceville, VA, where he had resided with his loving wife, Annabelle, for the past fifty-seven years. He had recently celebrated his 88th birthday and their 66th year of marriage.
He was born the son of Charles Taylor and Clara Andrews Taylor, on November 8, 1921.
He is survived by his wife, Annabelle; a son, Clifford W. Taylor, Jr. and his wife Betty, who was a very special daughter-in-law; granddaughter, Jennifer Jo Justis and her husband Troy of Quinby, VA; a grandson, Clifford P. Taylor and his wife Beth of Belle Haven, VA; and four great-grandchildren, Baylee Elise Justis, Darbee Pearl Justis, Zachary Thomas Taylor and William Ryan Paul Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Temperanceville. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
