Adrienne M. Manter, 82, a resident of Onancock, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA.
Born on April 5, 1927 in Union, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Harry A. Miller and Edith Branigan Miller.
Adrienne is survived by a daughter, Sandy Manter of Onancock; two sons, Keith Manter of Laurel, Delaware and Greg Manter of Onancock; a sister, Jean M. Cortese; three nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Robert Close officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite 3, Onancock, VA 23417 or to the Onley Community Health Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 1039, Nassawadox, VA 23413, attention Jeanette Edwards.
