On March 6, 2010, our beautiful Brittany Shea went to be with her heavenly Father. Brittany was born November 24, 1992 in Nassawadox, Virginia. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Robert and Laurie Shrieves; maternal grandparents, Maureen Thompson and the late Edmund "Buddy" Thompson; paternal grandparents Earl Pryor, Jr. and the late Mary Pryor; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Audrey Thompson, Brian and Melissa Thompson, Lisa Thompson and Benson Rippon, Tammy Pryor and Earl and Kim Pryor; cousins Kristina, Taylor, Tyler, Brooke and Madison; and numerous other family members and friends.
Brittany had a love and passion for many things in life including horses, motocross, her friends and family and her most recent passion was becoming a Junior Fire Fighter with the Melfa Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. She was working to earn her certification in Firefighter I and II. Until recently, she attended Nandua High School. Brittany was an angel sent from above and has touched so many lives with her kind, loving and giving heart. May her beautiful smile stay forever in our memories.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 10, at Fairview Farm, 12291 Fairview Road, Painter, VA 23420. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 9 at Williams Funeral Home in Onancock from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, Brittany would be honored by your donations to the Melfa Fire Department, P.O. Box 100, Melfa, VA 23410 or the SPCA, P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
